CAPA September October Meeting
We had a great turnout for our last meeting which was held at the University of Texas Club on The University of Texas Campus. The event was sponsored by Abbot and we had a guest speaker that presented two very relevant topics to our pharmacy practice. We want to thank Dr. Scumpia for shedding light on the thyroid controversy especially when it comes to substitution and for introducing us to some new therapies in the management of triglycerides. Look for our next meeting in early December where we will move to a larger venue and host our colleagues from the AASHP organization. Stay tuned to the blog and twitter feed for an update on teh meeting details. We hope everyone had fun last event, we are definitely looking forward to December.
