Technician Credentials

Hi CAPA members and visitors!

I’ve seen some interesting technician credentials (RCPhT) show up on business cards recently.  I checked into this with our good friends at TSBP.  The only recognized credentials for technicians is PhTR for Pharmacy Technician Registered, and CPhT for Certified Pharmacy Technician.  If you see RCPhT being used or other variation, please kindly let that tech know they should make a correction before they print more business cards or send out their next email.

Mission Trip through the VHC
Our friends a the VHC are planning a Mission trip to Mexico, and they need pharmacists. Please see the note below and make sure to contact Gloria or Ernie if you are interested in volunteering your time for those in need.

My name is Gloria and I am one of the volunteer PA’s.  Do you coordinate pharmacy volunteers as well?  I was wondering if you would mind forwarding the following to the pharmacists: Gateway Community church is sponsoring a medical mission trip to Mexico on April 16th-18th.  We are traveling to Piedras Negras and setting up a mobile clinic in one of the local churches.  We are in need of a pharmacists.  If interested, please contact:  Gloria McPherson at glodo7@sbcglobal.net or Ernie Schroeder at ernie.schroeder@verizon.net.
