1st Day at TPA
We enjoyed our first full day of the conference at TPA.
The opening session was a passing of the guard from Jim Martin to Joe DaSilva as the new CEO/Executive director for the Texas Pharmacy Association. We also heard from our current president Bill Moore, R.Ph. the current president of TPA.
There were several Educational sessions to attend to throughout the morning and afternoon.
Additionally there were delegation meetings to discuss bylaws and resolutions that were of interest to the members that were attending.
We wrapped up the day at the Exhibit Hall showcase where we visited the various sponsors of the event and the new and exciting products for pharmacy practice that they made available. There was food, fun, and lots of people to meet.
We are looking forward to the second day of sessions and more time to network with colleagues from all over the state.
Don’t forget that we have a twitter feed that you can follow by clicking the image below:
We attempted some live microblogging during the keynote of the opening session. Tell me what you think?
More posts to come after Day 2 at TPA.
