TPA Announces 2010 Award Winners
TPA has announced their 2010 award winners. We have another CAPA member who earned the award for Pharmacist of the Year. Congratulations Mark Zamutt, job well done. Per the TPA award page: Pharmacist of the Year–Mark S. Zamutt, R.Ph. Recognizes a pharmacist who possesses a record of unquestionable integrity, outstanding service to the local or state association and a personal record of exemplary service to the pharmacy community. 1st Annual TPA Leadership Forum
On August 28 & 29 of 2009, TPA invited some of their active leaders within the organization in order to talk about where the organization is heading. We spoke of our mission and strategic plan for the next three years. TPA staff along with many of the board of directors listened to various TPA members throughout the 2-day event. Each of the participants had something to contribute, but most of us left with optimism for the future of the association. Each participant set a goal for the coming year that was attainable. They conveyed their particular goal to the president of TPA, Gene Adams, in an open forum. CAPA had representation from Nathan Pope, Alexis Balko, Joe Jospeh, Jason Sparks, and Marcus Stavchansky. Many of the other large locals, and small, were also represented. Take a look at some of the photos from the event:
